Pumpkin Spice, Not So Nice

Fall is definitely in the Air, oh no!  It just doesn't feel like I had a summer, especially this year.  Our pool was mostly closed and on the days it was open, it was too smokey to be out there.  No real BBQ's, blah, blah, blah.

I went through this last Fall at this time.  I love the sun, I love the heat and I lovelovelove to BE barefoot.  Pumpkin spice is not my cup of tea!  I am seeing the patterns in my life - FINALLY.  Sigh, sometimes it takes me a while. 

I know I am not alone, not necessarily about Fall coming, but about feeling melancholy.  Fall is the AIR element which is about the Emotional Attitude of Grief and Sadness.  It is a natural progression with the seasons to feel this shift.  But, It is also about JOY.  I sometimes have to remind myself of this!

After a couple of days of feeling down and unproductive I had a BIG talk with myself.  So, what did myself say to do?  For starters, I put JOY in my diffuser.  Seems like a small thing, but the essential oil JOY is one of my favorites.  Today, I will wear it as a non-toxic perfume.

I held my ring finger.  I used the breath mudra - A LOT.  (aside, if I could get into my YouTube Channel I would attach that mediation here :( )  (Make a circle with your thumb over your ring fingernail).  During my morning self-care routine, I gave myself a First Method Correction, this supports our emotional center, the lungs, large intestine and helps to release trauma from the cells.  Boy, did that help me to feel better. 

My go to color is white, the color representing FALL and the AIR element.  I made myself wear something bright.  Okay, so I wore a white shirt with a really bright colored scarf, but I got those colors in. This helps me not get stuck in that grief, sadness mode.  Everything is energy.  Colors are uplifting.

Now I'm ready for Fall AND I am dreaming of the beach!
